This tutorial explains how to enable the UDP Telemetry in F1 2016 and is intended for Playstation 4 and XBOX users. At least version 1.5.0 of the game is required.
PC users can also use the UDP Telemetry, but the configuration differs from the one on the consoles. Therefore read the manual configuration, which is explained here. Use the IP address of the Android device and the Port 20777.
Open the game options
Press the Triangle button or Y-button on the mainscreen to enter the game options.
Afterwards open the entry "Settings".
Open the UDP Telemetry Settings
Open the entry "UDP Telemetry Settings"
Adjust the UDP Telemetry settings
Set "Toggle UDP Telemetry" to: ON
the "UDP Telemetry Broadcast Mode" to: OFF
and enter in "Set IP Address": the IP Address of your Android device and the Port 20777.
Please note: The game starts to send data not before the race is started.
Info: If multiple devices in the network should receive the data you can enable the Broadcastmode to ON. On some routers this can lead to slower transmission.
